Magister Templi (8°=3□) Papers - 2

Part 2 of my Grade of Magister Templi observations. Goodbye 'Ratio' The Golden Dawn tradition assigns the development of the Astral Body to the Adeptus Minor grade, but in my opinion this is fully achieved in the Magister Templi grade. Maybe, the terminology used is different among different schools, or I am mistaking my Initiation with a higher one. Also, it appears some authors attribute Astral body to basic emotions, while others describe something resembling Buddhic body. In any case, I have, for the first time in my life, found myself completely at odds with 'Reason' and 'Rationality'. My progress towards achieving my True Will could not proceed further unless I actively separated myself from the critique of appearances. Such level of alignment with the Cosmic Consciousness replaces all material, emotional, ethical (morality and justice), and social considerations of the individual will. Identifying and belonging to a Spiritual Stream, represented under di...

Magister Templi (8°=3□) Papers - 1

Image
My experience of the Magister Templi grade. 1- Binah energy The Magister Templi primarily resides in the sephirah of Binah, which means his perception for the Mysteries is opened up. He will often be occupied by charting the maps of influence, dynamics of manifestation, and the entry point of the Divine Will. He will be able to comprehend the shrouded halves of psychoanalysis, sociology, and political philosophy, because the secret half is hidden in the experience of the Supernal Triad. This creates a certain thirst and satisfaction of exclusivity in the Aspirant. The fuel and throttle of the engine of Man are the secret forces that the Magister Templi can align with and study in seclusion. 2- Inevitable action The Magister Templi is often claimed by the Force, which is the Path of 'The Magician' that connects Binah to Kether. In this sporadic experience of the Ipsissimus consciousness, the Magister Templi practices the notion of inevitable action. In this semi-hypnotic trance...

Ascent vs. Integration

Image
In the practice of Spirituality, 99% of the focus is on the phenomenon of Ascent, whereby the individual learns to comprehend higher truths and develops a connection with his Spirit. The connection with Spirit makes the Aspirant strong, self-absorbed, somewhat reckless, and truly individual. On the other hand, such illumination does not persistently create satisfaction. The mundane life will eventually suffer if Integration or grounding practices are not introduced. Ascent in a Free Age An individual's connection with their Spirit is in fact very hard to conceal. Large social systems, like the medieval oppression by the Church, are required to effect it. Individuals should be filled with extreme fear, shame, and guilt, while intellectual freedom is suppressed. Only in such very restrained conditions, individuals will be effectively disconnected from their Spirit. In our age, in contrast, freedom, individuality, intellectual life are very much developed. As a result, through various...

The Self-Object

Relaxation and patience through pain without seeking any cures will resurrect our self-object. With the self-object intact, you will gain the ability to care for, understand, protect and love yourself. You will feel whole and valuable. Your creative and social power will rekindle. Your seeking and loving instincts will be transformed to intellectual and will power. As you merge in awareness, your life will gain more meaning and momentum.

When In Doubt: Relax

Image
Relaxation is the most important tool of the Aspirant in making progress on the Path. Face all the unconscious material that surface during relaxation, and do not change focus due to pain or anger. Let life flow within you, instead of outside you in a materialistic way. Don't count the hours or days. If you are in doubt, if you feel like you have lost the meaning, just relax. Let life provide the answers, motivations, situations and the new questions. Manifest your Spirit by relaxing. You will be amazed at the new Force this will bring to your Life, which will organize your Life, as well as protect it. Let submission be your rebellion.  'The Lazy Mans Guide to Relaxation' (1983) by Israel Regardie is a good resource for studying relaxation techniques.

The Work of an Adept (5=6 Grade)

Image
The work of an Adept is centered around meditation. To get into a meditative state is the rejection of the mundane Self, which many authors refer to as the 'ego', in order to squeeze out the Elementals that feed on the Spirit. When the Spirit touches the flesh (Earth elemental) without interference, an arc is generated that brings Divine Light to the depths of Chaos, while also giving it will-Power. I have explained this phenomenon in the metaphorical sketch of the 'Spirit machine' below. To be able to reach this meditation, requires the acceptance of and submission to Destiny. The Devas are responsible for accumulating the intense will-Power that is generated by the Spirit. Men cannot hold on to his Power yet, in the 5=6 grade. This System can be sustained 'forever', as the Devas will eventually assist the Initiate with growing opulence and comforts to ensure his Service. The Devas survive on pure will-Power. For them to gain even the basic Life and awareness, ...

The Two Worlds - Part II

Image
The continuation of my hypotheses on the Theory of Magic. The Organized World I don't want to sound like a control freak, but there really is a Divine Will that gets reflected on the World through the mediation of the Magician. In Fig. 1, I have attempted to give an outline of the 3 main states of the Magical Mind. The most common Magician in our age is the one which has completely identified with the 'I'. The 'I' is the rational problem solver part of the Self. The problem solver acts as a fountain of Divine Wisdom, thereby creating 'Intelligent Chaos'. Intelligent Chaos can be thought of as the Chaos community that takes shape from the fragments of wisdom spilled out by the Magician tuned to the wrong frequency. This happens completely in the unconscious, but can be traced as some part of it is verbal. I term this as 'Black Magic'. It also explains why 'Black Magic' is always an attempt at it, but never the accomplishment. If the Magician ...
