Relaxation and patience through pain without seeking any cures will resurrect our self-object. With the self-object intact, you will gain the ability to care for, understand, protect and love yourself. You will feel whole and valuable. Your creative and social power will rekindle. Your seeking and loving instincts will be transformed to intellectual and will power. As you merge in awareness, your life will gain more meaning and momentum.
Relaxation is the most important tool of the Aspirant in making progress on the Path. Face all the unconscious material that surface during relaxation, and do not change focus due to pain or anger. Let life flow within you, instead of outside you in a materialistic way. Don't count the hours or days. If you are in doubt, if you feel like you have lost the meaning, just relax. Let life provide the answers, motivations, situations and the new questions. Manifest your Spirit by relaxing. You will be amazed at the new Force this will bring to your Life, which will organize your Life, as well as protect it. Let submission be your rebellion. 'The Lazy Mans Guide to Relaxation' (1983) by Israel Regardie is a good resource for studying relaxation techniques.
